Introducing Cellar 2010
We are very excited to announce the details of Cellar 2010 – an exciting and exclusive line-up of wine kits.
We have been able to source some of the most sought after varietals from California, Argentina and New Zealand. Since we only secure a limited amount of juice to create these wines, they will be available by pre-order only.
CALIFORNIA OLD VINES ZINFANDEL SOLD OUT
Zinfandel is a black grape variety grown predominately in California. The grapes have been harvested from older vines which have complex and intense fruit characteristics. Expect a dark ruby red colour with aromas and flavours of black cherry, blackberry, raspberry and spice, perfectly balanced by rich oak and vanilla notes. The firm tannins will provide great structure and mouth-feel, and with the abundance of fruit flavours, allow this wine to age gracefully for 2 to 3 years.

ARGENTINE MALBEC
Argentinean Malbec is the new shining star in the wine world. This wine has a deep Burgundy red colour with aromas and flavours of ripe, juicy blackberry and blue plum fruit accented by subtle notes of violet, sweet oak and spice. The full-bodied mouth-feel and firm tannins present in its youth will allow the wine to age for 2 to 3 years.

Food matches: Enjoy with cedar plank grilled salmon; mushroom risotto; mushroom lasagna; gourmet pizza; veal steak; duck breast; prime rib; barbecued lamb chops; pheasant; turkey with mushroom stuffing and gravy.

CALIFORNIA SONOMA CHARDONNAY
This Chardonnay has a deep straw yellow colour with a rich bouquet of ripe apple, pear and toasty oak. This is a medium-bodied wine with crisp apple and pear flavours that fill the mouth. The dry, clean finish lingers with notes of green apple and delicate toasty oak. Best enjoyed lightly chilled within 2 years.

Food matches: Wonderful with pork roast; barbecued or baked chicken; lightly seasoned shrimp and vegetable stir fry; chicken pot pie; pasta or seafood in a cream sauce; turkey dinner; mushroom pastry tarts.

NEW ZEALAND PINOT NOIR
Pinot Noir exhibits a ruby red colour with an elegant framework, silky tannins and good balancing acidity. This is the perfect wine for casual sipping or to enjoy alongside lighter meals. Expect aromas and flavours of cherry, raspberry and strawberry, along with delicate notes of spice. Pinot Noir is best enjoyed within the first two years, served lightly chilled at 16ºC.

Food matches: Serve with pepper steak; sauces and marinades on steak, ribs and roasts; beef brisket; beef stew; meat pie; meat sauce on pasta; 1 year old Canadian cheddar; classic Argentinean cuisine such as beef empanadas or chimichurri sauce on grilled steak.
